Colleen Figiel - Owner & Stylist

Colleen has been a long time lover of the beauty industry. She was the girl doing everyone's hair and makeup before high school dances and throwing a braid or some curls in someone's hair any chance she got. Following high school she decided to take a different path and immersed herself in the coinciding fashion industry for over ten years.  As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Colleen had been working and living in the fashion and beauty capital of the world, New York City, when she realized how much she longed to follow her true passion of coloring hair and be back in the rural upstate mountains where she grew up.  Without looking back, she quit her job, enrolled in cosmetology school, and graduated with plans to bring a chic, upscale, and cozy salon to the Catskill Mountains. Colleen is consistently taking classes in advanced color techniques and extension application to stay current in the ever changing and evolving beauty industry.  

Colleen is currently only accepting clients on a waitlist basis.

Caitlyn Rauh - Stylist

Caitlyn has been obsessed with beauty and style since she was a little girl. By high school she was doing cuts and color for friends. She decided to pursue her passion, and studied hair, makeup and all the tools and elements of the trade at Capri Cosmetology Learning Center. She honed her craft in New York City, working with some of the best in style and fashion and rose to an assistant position with top stylists at the exclusive Pierre Michel Salon on Manhattan’s East 57th Street. She worked closely with the great Leon Sananes who encouraged her to refine and develop her skills. She became known as a specialist for braids, and has done Pop-Up braiding bars at fashion events with Refinery 29/Glossybox, and Puma (with Taryn Manning) among others. She continues to learn more techniques in styling, coloring and extension application and expand her horizons by taking courses in all things beauty including celebrity makeup artist Helen Andereson’s class at the Facestockholm store in Rhinebeck.
